Event Description

Come paint a painting commissioned exclusively for Tuscmoms!

Some details: (important parts in bold)
1. The painting will be pre-drawn.
2. The cost is $35.00 for a 16x20 canvas, $45.00 for a 20x24 canvas.
3. In addition to the painting fee, there will be a $10.00 non-refundable deposit that will paid in advance to "Zarkarella". The assures that we will have the $100.00 deposit needed to book the loft and have it all to ourselves with our own teacher and a place to hang out and have food. If we have more than 10 moms signed up, I will either issue refunds for part of the $10.00, or you can opt to have the difference put in a pot to buy "communal" wine bottles at the studio. This deposit is due by July 30th!
4. Due to the ordinances in Tuscaloosa, we are not allowed to bring our own alcohol. But, they do have wine and beer for purchase at the studio. Fear not, though, they are grocery store prices. They do not inflate them to make a profit. So, a bottle of wine may be $10 dollars or so.
5. We CAN bring food. So, everyone bring a dish they would like to share. The studio also sells water bottles and soda, so everyone is responsible for your own drinks. You CAN bring in non-alcoholic drinks.
6. You can change the colors! Don't think you have to paint a dark headed little boy in a tan outfit. Think blonde hair or a pink dress or a little girl with curls. This CAN be personalized to reflect your family.

I just had to run out for something b/c we have nothing and ended up with cookies (again). :) Can't wait for tonight!

Comment by Zarkarella on August 13, 2010 at 2:40pm: No worries ladies, Aubrey will make ten. But Aubrey, they do have a corkscrew but you can't bring your own drinks to the Tuscaloosa location. They have them for sale though. :-) Tyra, just ten. I'll be giving you a refund tonight for the overage.
