The Capitol School's program is stellar. You can register children 2.5 years old to 14. There is also private music lessons, elementary, middle, and high school tutoring.

I have recommended the children I nanny and other children to The Capitol School, the ACT Theatre camps, and Bama Bounders. Whether the child/family is interested in academic success, rigor, art/music creativity, or gross motor these programs are inclusive of each talent. The feedback from teachers and parents are excellent. The caliber of these programs makes them highly recommendable.

Thank you for your comment! If you have other questions, I'd love to discuss further.

On April 27th from 1-3pm on the Quad across from Smith Hall. The UA Graduate Parent Support program is hosting the 2nd Annual Summer Camp Expo. This event will provide kids and parents with the opportunity to interact and gain information regarding summer camps in the Tuscaloosa area!

Everyone is invited to a FREE summer camp expo where your kids can enjoy activities offered by local camps and you can get tons of great camp info all in one place.  There will also be a Babysitter "Fun Station" area where parents can meet UA students who are looking for babysitting jobs.  There will be an area on the quad where sitters will play with your kids and give you information flyers about themselves.

There will also be free hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks for the first 150 people.

Door prizes like free camp registrations, $50 camp credits, and a free birthday party at Bama Bounders will be given away at 2:45pm under the big tent!

Bring your friends and join us on the quad for a fun afternoon!  Parking is free and easy on Saturdays in the spring--you can park in any lot, even the parking right behind Gorgas Library, Smith Hall, and Lloyd Hall!  Spread the word and join us!

Exhibit space is free as well, so contact Cori Perdue is you have a summer camp you want to exhibit. cperdue@ua.edu
