Book club last night

Hi book club gals! How was book club last night? I'm bummed I missed it. What's the next book choice?

It was good! We ended the night at Barnes and Noble, and the next book is "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" by Stieg Larsson. We did get a photo which I will post in a bit. We missed you Kristi, but I hope you're having a great trip!

The book club meeting was awesome! We started at Panera and enjoyed dinner/dessert. There was actually very little talk about the prior book because we just weren't sure what to say. The basic thought though was that we didn't like it. lol.

Panera was really cold so we decided to move on over to Barnes and Noble which was really awesome. Lots of chatting and coffee. And we had so many good books we wanted, but finally had to pick one.

And before we left, we all made a vow to not put anymore new books into the mix until we read some of the awesome books we found, so we don't forget them. Here is a list of the books we want to pick from next month:
Mudbound (we've been talking about this one for almost 2 years now!)
The Memory Thief
The Story of Edgar Sawtelle
Her Fearful Symmetry
A Soft Place to Land

Everyone please check these out and see which ones you would vote for next time and picking a book should be pretty easy. :)

Please not Edgar Sawtelle! I am a tenacious book-finisher usually, no matter how abysmal. However, this one was so freaking boring it became a casualty.

I vote Mudbound, based on the story and reviews.
