Charming Charlie social, anyone?

So I was in Charming Charlie today and found out about these Charming Charlie social parties you can have there.

You spend 2 hours in the store. It can be a Mon - Thurs. or a Sunday.
They provide light refreshments and food. And you get 20 percent off anything you buy.
You win door prizes throughout the night. During the first hour they draw a name and you win a $50 gift certificate. During the second hour they draw another name and you win a free purse.
There is no cost to attend. And no minimum on your purchases.
You can bring in your own food. But no alcohol.

Does this sound like a good mom's night out for May?

Ummm....yeah!!! Definitely! They provide prizes and refreshments?? Sign me up! LOL.

I mean, obviously they do it to drum up some business, and that's fine with me. The $20 I'd spend at a restaurant at a MNO I would happily spend there instead.

Does it have to be during the day though? Or is it early evening? Is it when the store is open for business?

That's a great idea. We can walk to one of those restaurants and have a drink at the bar after it's over - celebrate our new purchases (and winnings) :)

So let's figure out a date.

Thurs. May 19 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.?
