Charming Charlie social, anyone?

So I was in Charming Charlie today and found out about these Charming Charlie social parties you can have there.

You spend 2 hours in the store. It can be a Mon - Thurs. or a Sunday.
They provide light refreshments and food. And you get 20 percent off anything you buy.
You win door prizes throughout the night. During the first hour they draw a name and you win a $50 gift certificate. During the second hour they draw another name and you win a free purse.
There is no cost to attend. And no minimum on your purchases.
You can bring in your own food. But no alcohol.

Does this sound like a good mom's night out for May?

I know that many of us have busier than usual schedules right now, and some of us are still struggling to put things back together. That said, I'd still like to have our MNO on the 19th. It would be such a releif to see everyone safe and sound, in person, and it's a great way to support a local business that's in one of the areas affected by the storm.

Here is an idea...whether we have it this month or next, we can do a donation table where moms can buy stuff for other moms who lost everything. The back wall is a clearance wall. We can pick items from there plus we get 20 percent off everything we buy at the social. I bet we can make some moms very happy with jewelry and other items.
