Getting Settled IN
Hi! I'm April and my daughter is Emma (4 yrs). We have FINALLY joined my husband here in Tuscaloosa. We are still working on getting settled in, but I would love to begin making new friends for both Emma and myself. I was very excited to find this site and can't wait to start getting involved with some groups.

We are in Northport right now. We are in an apt but looking to rent a house, I'm hopeful we can find something in this area.

Hi April! Welcome to Tuscaloosa! I live in Northport and I wanted to tell you that there are several houses for sale in our neighborhood - Clear Creek Colony. It's a great family community and in an awesome school zone. Let me know if you'd like any more information. Most of them are for sale, but I do know of people who have rented in here, so I think it's an option on some of the houses.

Thanks, I think we may have found one. It is in the Grand Point subdivision. I'm still very unfamiliar with the area, so is that anywhere nearby?

Yep - Grand Point is pretty much right behind our neighborhood. Same exact schools!
