Hi ladies!
How is Tuscaloosa? Still pretty warm, eh? I am such a wimp now. I get cold all the time after living south for 5 years. lol. I mean it's like 60 here right now. Brrrr. Right? lol.
Well we are finally settling into our new home in Boston. We now have stairs and the kids are loving it. lol. Up and down, up and down. We have this great big porch that we've been enjoying a lot as well. I love sitting out there at night.
It is amazing being so close to family now. I mean, I tossed the kids in the car and drove to my dad's house on his birthday (he lives just over 2 hours away). That is awesome, after living a plane ride away for so long. :) And my hubby's family is right here so the kids have been playing a lot with their cousins.
I've been thinking of all of you and missing Tuscaloosa and all the friends we left behind. Congrats to all you mamas who have given birth this summer. Enjoy those precious bundles. How is the rebuilding in Tuscaloosa going? I am hearing from excited moms that Hobby Lobby is coming back. Yay!
I hope you are all enjoying these last days of summer and your little ones are doing well back at school. Jack starts pre-K after Labor Day. So he got an extra long summer this year. He'll go full time this year. I'm excited for him. He can't wait to see a football game here. But he'll always be a Crimson Tide fan. He still talks about the Alabama game I took him to.
Paige is now 2 and doing great. She loves Wiggles and princesses and Elmo. And talks non stop. lol.
And I have some exciting news. I start my new job in a few weeks at Boston.com. I will be running the mom website there,
Boston.com Moms. But nothing can replace you ladies and all our great memories and adventures in Tuscaloosa.
I'll definitely be checking back in!
Hugs! XOXO
