Hey! I'm new to Tuscaloosa!

Hey! I'm new to the area! I'm married with a 12 year old daughter. I would love to meet new people to hang out during the day for shopping, lunch, exercising! My daughter was a cheerleader at her school and played softball. I plan to take her to Tumbling Tides for a tumble/jump class. Of course I don't know anyone here so is that a good place to go? My daughter will play Hillcrest park ball if anyone here has kids that play there I would love to hear from you!

Hi Jennifer Im somewhat new to Tuscaloosa myself  Im orginally from chicago . I've been here for a few years now and i still feel new lol Which is why i decided to join this site to meet people.  My daughter will be 12 next month.  I only here good things about tumbling tides so go for it.  I would love to go shopping and hang out in the mornings.  I have work but i don't go in til noon.

Hey Jennifer! Where did you move from? We moved here from OK in May 2011. I have two daughters 8 & almost 11. They too played ball and cheered. We lived in the Hillcrest area when we first moved here but built a new house North of the river in the Rock Quarry district. Any luck connecting here? Have you picked a church? Hi! and welcome!  My daughter takes gymnastics at Tumbling Tides and she loves it.  I hope to meet you at one of the TuscMom events.  If you have a facebook account you should check out the TuscMoms facebook page, sometimes you can get more information there as many of the moms check in there frequently.
