Tusc Moms

My husband and I are trying to tighten up our family budget to save for a new home in the next year or two. I found a blog where a woman saves money on groceries by taking advantage of Wal-Mart's price matching policy. If you bring in an add from any local store with a better price, they match it. So you can get the best deals from all the stores without wasting gas driving around town. Has anyone done this before? If so, which Wal-Mart, Skyland or Northport?

I have not done it, I coupon like a mad lady - ok not that bad but I save at least 50% each trip. Have you joined the tusc moms group on facebook yet? we also have a tuscmoms coupon group as well, we meet once every 2-3 weeks swap coupons and share how save. Its a great way to save money, socialize and bring your kids!!!! If you join that group there may be a few ladies who have tried it and can give you some tips!!! Good luck my dear and I hope to see you at some of our groups!

Thanks! I'll have to check that out. I used to coupon before my second daughter was born, and kind of fell off the wagon. I have been wanting to get back to it though.

I have. All you do is take the ad and show them at the checkout. It was really easy. I have only done this at the Northport Walmart.

Will Walmart honor Publix bogo? I have never done price match but with the cost of grocery I need to.
