I don't know much about weightloss surgeries, but I do know two people who have had success with gastric bypass. It's definitely something to have a serious talk with your doctor about though.

Good luck!

Thanks I had a talk about the gastric sLeeve and I think that's the one that best for me

There is a doctor in town, I would suggest contacting them to see if your insurance covers anything. Otherwise, you might look into the various weight loss clinics around, like Bariatric Weight Loss of Tuscaloosa and First Care in Northport.

I found a dr. In mobile who does it and works with my insurance goTta go there for a seminar

I started at Bariatric Weight Loss of Tuscaloosa on Jan 2, and have lost 12.5 pounds in three weeks.  They are AWESOME there!!  Very nice, supportive and helpful.  If you call, talk to Alisha!!

Jennifer, how is bariatric weight loss different from other plans, like weight watchers and such?

I'm curious to know more. I've got about 25 pounds I'd like to lose. I've lost about that much before on WW but making the meetings and such is difficult now with two kids.
