Do you ladies think there is anything we could do for the earthquake victims? I don't really have any ideas but I would love to do something.

I've let FOCUS know that we have some Moms (and kids!) willing to help get their clients to their appointments. As they call me with assignments, I'll post them here.  Thanks for your interest, and keep checking back for updates!

Maddie,

They told me that it would be fine to have our kids with us for the driving (I'd have to have Ford with me as well). I'll call them back tomorrow to let them know that we can help out and try to get more info about the when and where -

Dianne, I would love to help in any way I can. Only thing is I will have Marley with me at all times. Is that all right if she joins?

Hi all,

I was working with the volunteer coordinator at Focus on Seniors to provide Mother's day floral arrangments for one of their nutrition centers just before the storm hit.

I've been in touch with her again, and she told me that their most pressing need is for "relief" volunteer workers. Their staff and usual volunteers have been pulled to for the most critical needs, so now they need people who are willing to drive seniors to the doctor's office, grocery store, etc., and people to help seniors fill out FEMA and insurance forms.

If you are willing to give of your time in this way, please comment below and we can work to set up a specific day (or days) when we can help out.
