We have picked "Room" to read for October. Pick it up and join the discussion! We'll meet again in early November.

Let's start planning a date!Any suggestions?First week of November sound good? After Halloween craziness! How about Tues. 1st or Thurs. 3rd?
So, I guess we missed these dates Athena. lol. We should pick a date even though I have quite a bit to read before I am done. I fought for this book so hard though, I better read it.
How would November 17th work for you guys?
The 17th is good for me!
I just started it today so I probably won't be finished but the 17th is good for me.
Not sure if I'll have a babysitter or not, but I'll try my best!

Jenn, we fought too hard for this book, you have to be there! lol. You can drop the girls off with Nick. :)

FYI, I should have posted this a week ago. The Ruby Tuesday room is booked on the 17th. Do we all still want to meet the 17th? We can go back to Panera or something. I haven't finished the book and won't have time to do so before then. I hate how busy I am right now. :(

Or, we could meet December 15th. Two days after the Christmas Cookie party. OR, since the cookie party started as a book club event anyway, we could combine the two and those who read the book could discuss it at the cookie party. What does everyone think?

Sorry... I think I am talking this out with myself right now... lol. Anyway, I spoke to Moozle and I think we will combine the Cookie Party with book club. Considering there are so many events going on right now, I don't want to tax everyone with more. So, those who read the book, we can have a discussion about it at the Cookie Party. Those who don't read the book will have plenty to do as well. Hope this works for everyone!

This sounds like a perfect plan!! I know we are all so busy, and with the parade, the party, this... I don't want people to feel like they have to choose.  So, combining works!  And now I have time to finish the book.

Combining makes sense, but I wanted to start a new book!! Still gonna be there :)
