August Playdate - ideas?
Hi, all -
thought we could toss around a few ideas for a playdate! Since school is starting soon, we could make it a Saturday so more people can attend . . .
CHOM has a special Saturday event on the 13th - "Sounds of Alabama". It will feature live music from local musicians. We could also try another day of watery fun at the UA rec center pool, or the Shelby splash pad. If we're up for a road trip, I can set up a peach picking excursion.

I'd love to try peach picking! One of those Southern activities that we haven't gotten to try yet. We love picking other fruits and I can only imagine how much fun peach picking will be.

I'll call a few of the places we've gone to and see what they still have avaiable to pick. How does Saturday, August 20th (or the 27th) work for you?
